The next day the school had to get a crane to get the statue removed. We got it to the school, hoisted it to the center of the main building and admired our work. The pickup was surrounded by 100 or so cars and trucks.

That isn’t even funny, it is just illegal. People have spray painted the tennis courts and committed other forms of vandalism in recent years. This has been a problem in the past, unfortunately.
